Brampton Day Celebrations

2012 Brampton Day is scheduled for Saturday, September 22.

This year’s theme: "Celebrating Brampton"

There will be lots of fun, free activities for  people of all ages. 

Two Activities Planned for Brampton Day

1. Announcing the winner of Brampton’s Greatest Neighbourhood Contest
   
   Once again in 2012 Brampton Safety City, the City of Brampton and the Brampton Guardian will be running a contest to select a Brampton neighbourhood to be crowned as 2012 Brampton’s Greatest Neighbourhood.
   
   More details about the competition will be available online and through the Brampton Guardian as the date gets closer.
   
   
2. Signing Ceremony for Brampton’s Re-designation as an International Safe Community
   
   Brampton’s Mayor and Fire Chief, the Region of Peel’s Police Chief, Paramedics Chief and Medical Officer of Health and the President of Brampton Safe City will meet with dignitaries from the World Health Organization’s Collaborating Centre for Community Safety Promotion to sign a 5-year Agreement designating Brampton as an International Safe Community.
