Community Safe Hero Awards - November 10, 2004

It's time again to name Brampton’s Community Safety Hero of the Year.

The Safe City Association and the Brampton Guardian created the Community Safety Hero of the Year Award in 2003, to recognize special individuals who give back to our community in a way that helps us all to enjoy a safer and better city.

Last year's winner, Shereen Woodworth, was recognized for her efforts in creating Sk8bike – a group that promotes the construction of safe facilities and the use of safety gear for skateboarders and BMX bike riders in Brampton.
