Join the Brampton Safety Net

An email alert program to help you keep your home, family and business safe from crime and injury.

By signing up for an email alert, you can receive updated crime alerts for your area or the entire City and select the alerts you are most interested in.

Sign-up for any/all of the Following Topics:

  • Crimes
    Alerts about crimes and suspicious activities happening in your neighbourhood; also crime prevention and home security tips from the Peel Regional Police.

  • Child Safety
    Amber Alerts about missing children, (from Child Find Ontario), and information about safety concerns that could potentially harm your child, along with injury prevention tips from Peel Health. Notices of upcoming car seat safety clinics, bicycle and helmet safety clinics or other local child safety events.

  • Youth Safety
    Information about crime trends or other concerns that could threaten young people; also safety tips on how to keep your teenager safe from crime and injury.

  • Seniors Safety
    Alerts about unsafe situations that could be harmful to seniors such as extreme weather, frauds, and household hazards.

  • Emergencies
    Receive an alert if a dangerous or life-threatening emergency such as a toxic spill or natural disaster occurs nearby; also receive information from the City of Brampton’s Emergency Measures Office on how to stay safe during an emergency.

  • Fire Safety
    Alerts about potential fire hazards, along with fire safety tips from Brampton & Fire Emergency Services.

  • Road Safety
    Alerts about road safety concerns and driving hazards, along with driver and pedestrian safety tips from the Brampton Road Safety Committee.

  • Health
    Alerts about dangerous or recalled products, food concerns or other health issues that could affect you and your family; along with healthy living tips from Peel Health.

  • Workplace Safety
    Alerts about crimes or work-related hazards that could harm your business or employees; also business crime prevention tips from the Peel Regional Police.
