The Safe Communities Incentive Program - A Workplace Safety Solution For Small Businesses

With regret, Safe City terminated its participation in the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB)’s Safe Communities Incentive Program (SCIP) in 2005 after the WSIB implemented a new third party contract approach that raised the Association’s liability to an unacceptable level.

Since our initial involvement with SCIP, it has been Safe City ’s privilege to have coordinated training for more than one-hundred local business firms, enhancing workplace safety for thousands of employees in our community.
